Arabic Gum

Arabic Gum is one of Sudan’s primary export commodities linking the country to international markets in Europe, Asia, and North America.

Arabic Gum accounts for an estimated 15% of Sudan’s exports. Sudan is the world’s largest producer of Arabic Gum.

It contains Por-Biotics that aid in digestion. It has many uses in addition to medicinal drugs, beverages, beauty products, baked goods, and fodder.

Gum Arabic consists of two types:

1. HASHAD – Acacia Senegal
2. Acacia Seval
